Tecumseh H50 NO SPARK!

I have a big block H50 that is original to my TT500. It doesn't have spark but when i hold onto the plug wire it shocks me. i used a spark plug tester and still no spark. the points are opening and closing completely and have been adjusted. The resistance in the coil is about 750ka. I disconnected the ground wire all together and i still am not getting enough energy buildup to get a spark. I have also adjusted the closeness of the coil to the flywheel magnets and haven't had any luck. Any ideas on what the problem might be?:shrug:

Condenser or new coil

test the coil, make sure you have at least some continuity on the primary and secondary windings, i didnt see any resistance specs in my book.
might as well replace the points and condenser. point gap is .020".
