Hello everyone! Well, im embarking on my first mini bike build. The engine I want to use is our old Toro snowblower engine. Its a CCR 2400 with a Tecumseh HSK850 Engine. Engine runs, incredibly loudly, but runs fine. Any thoughts? It does have a 3/4 crankshaft. So clutches from the interwebs will work. Would this be an okay engine? And is there any way to make it quieter? Thanks!

run that bad boy...them 2 strokes make some noise, but that is half the fun. Make sure you follow instructions in regards to mixing oil with the gas! Lets see some pics! I am curious to see how you mount it. I see those on eBay all the time and think that is some fairly cheap power!
2 strokes make the power a little higher in the rpm range so you may need to gear it differently

pics!

About that. Over the last few days, with a total of over 8 hours of work., engine still isn't off. BUT ITS GOING lol. Although, today. I found a minibike, frame, "working" engine, with A wheel, at our local flea market.
