throttle linkage hook up briggs 3.5

just bought this non running bike, I rebuilt the carb and got it to idle now trying to hook up linkage from the twist trottle you can see the cable come in from the back but not sure the best way to hook it up to the carb, the hard wire in the carb top is just laying there its not hooked to nothing any help would be appreciated. oh its a newer briggs 3.5

That thread is for the older carbs...

There should be somewhere to attach your cable, up in deeper into the motor... If you read through that thread for the older carbs, you will see how it all works...

Your cable hookup at the wind vane will be different, but same idea applies, need to pull on the spring, thats hooked to the wind vane.... The wind vane moves the carb open and closed... You just pull on a spring, that's pulling on the wind vane....
