Tillotson HL 239b Carburetor

#2
There are several other .750 Tillys as well. Some folks bore the venturi to suit their needs, as an option on a too-small one. I've opened up a bunch of 4-stroke clone ones, and may try one of my .625 ones for fun.

I figured there was but I'm not sure what HL numbers to look for. If I'm correct, any Tilly HL that has a .750 venturi will have a 1.000 Throttle bore?

How would one go about boring a carb venturi?

Thanks.

It looks like there may be different throttle bores in .750 venturi models.
Take carb apart, set in drill press, punch it out, hone smooth. A mill is "better" but not needed.
I started modding a spare LB-DF carb-end case for bigger reeds, will start a thread
