What size plug for Oil Sensor Removal?

#1
I have a new 6.5 HF clone,
I just de-governed it and removed the low oil level sensor.

What size bolt or plug do I need for the hole in the block? ..where the sensor wire went through.

I'm at home, & the motor's at work,..
your answer will save me a trip across town to get my motor and check for myself, before I go to the hardware store,
so thanks in advance

Im not exactly sure what size, but what I did was threaded a hole with a tap and used a pipe plug to seal it up. If you have any taps just go get some plugs to corespond with them and you should be alright. Sorry I couldnt give you any sizes I did this a long time ago and cant remember. You can also use a bolt but I tried that with one of my clones and it had a very slow leak, It really only leaked when I ran it at high RPMS for a long time though, I think it was the crank case pressure. Another option is to just leave in the stock bolt with the hole in it and plug the little hole with epoxy or something.

I had allready thrown away the sensor parts,
so I ended up Tapping it to 7/16 14 pitch,
theading the bolt in tight & cut it off.
I found all the stuff I needed at work, so it's all good :eek:ut:
thanks ya'll..
