looking for an hs40 or hs50 w lighting coil. Or just the coil and flywheel. Thanks

I now have a Briggs 5hp with lighting coil wires. Never had one before and would like to figure out how to wire them up.:thumbsup: Also, I thought they were able to keep a charge on a small battery ????

So I bought what I thought was an HS50 from this younger kid who was going to use it for a go kart. I bought it for $125 because I need a 5HP tecumseh for a restore I am working on and it needed a lighting coil. This is the first engine with a lighting coil that I have had to take a shot at...

I have what appears to be an H40 Tecumseh from a Fox Mini. It has the lighting coil, the special angle intake and appears to be in good shape. I have never run the engine and it is apart right now. $240 plus shipping.
