I just picked up a Tecumseh with lighting coil. It been sitting for a while with gas in it, so I'm cleaning the tank and carb. Once I get it going how can I test the light?

I'm looking for a late 60s Tecumseh H50. I would prefer it be a '68, but something around that time might work. Would be nice to have one with a lighting coil. It doesn't have to be a runner, but can't be seized up or be damaged.

I have two 70's tecumseh hs40 lighted engines. Both have different lighting coils is there a reason why one is solid cast and the other looks more like a harmonic ballancer with plastic fins.

Decided to go a different route with my build off bike so I don't need it. 70' hs40 with lighting coil. Runs good. The recoil was replaced. $250 plus shipping.

Does anyone have a Tecumseh lighting coil PLUG...I have the one coming off of my HS40 (no problems there)...but I don't have the female (or is it male, lol) end that would connect to the actual mini bike.
