No, I have to change out that carb, put a different head on it, broke the bolt that holds the shroud to the head. My bigs arms turned it so hard it broke.

So change that all out and fire her up. And run. :laugh:

I knew I bit off more than I could chee.

I have pull that mother:censure: til my are has fallen off!!!!

I have spark. It is the same carb that was working perfectly, from the other Briggs.
It pulls over fine. Biatch just won't friggin run. I tried starting fluid and it wanted to. Now friggin nothing!!!!! Arrrrggggg!!!!!

It has a slight backfire pop in the carb!!! WTFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!



WHERE'S the truck. I am going to put this bisatch out in the yard and get a good running start ane run the mother:censure: over!!!!

Is the plug getting wet? Is your valve timing set right?

As HP said. If the cam is in right and you set the lash correctly then I look to fuel. If the plug is wet then look at ignition timing.

Plg is dry.
Now it won't even fire with a squirt of starting fluid in either the carb or the plug hole.

Sheared flywheel key.

Put another in it and she ran briefly. Then pop out the muffler and sheared another key.

Ya'll are talking Greek to me. I just stuck the cam in, put new valve springs on, put the original tappets or whatever they are called, back in.

Am I suppose to do something different? Damn it anyhow...

Thought you could just throw this together and it would friggin run.

Buck you need a certain clearance aka valve lash between the valve tip and tappet when the cam is on its base of each lobe.

The flywheel nut wasn't tight enough.:laugh:

So, runs like a beast!!!! It would be better with the header, better with the header, that rhymes. Went to put the header on and it doesn't fit. The holes aren't right. Arrrgggg!!
