Looking for info on Homelite 20A 115-3 generator

#1
I picked this up about 18 years ago when I was doing a job at headquarters Harrisburg and had to make brushes for it as I could not find any replacements.
It ran but not good enough to even run a small drill so I threw it in the shed and now I am off till the first of the year decided to pull it out and see what could be done with it. I have done searches by the model number but get nothing and was hopeing someone on here may have some info.
From what I can find it is fixed speed as there is no throtle plate only a choke and I have pulled off the generator case to clean up the armature and check bearings.(Model 20A 115-3)

A quick search show that your generator is rated at 2300 watts ie(20apms x 115 volts). Homelite is a division of Textron Inc. Any numbers on the shroud or id plate. Motor made by someone other then Homelite. Year of generator is 1956

By my math going off the data plate it is 8.7 Amps X 115 Volts = 1000.5 watts. The 20A 115-3 is a model number I can only find info on the 20A 115-1 might I ask where you found the year of this one?

Googled Homelite 20a 115-3 and checked the results at smokstak.com; see oldengine.org/members/die web page listed in article.
I checked the link but none with the same model number.

I must be loseing it I cant find anything to match mine all I can find is for a 20a 115-1 but nothing on the 20a 115-3.
And no numbers visible on block or shroud maybe something under cover will check when I pull it apart.

Thanks,Scott
