need advice on hm100 throttle...

Pick this up cheap
...its a snowblower type engine and I need help on a throttle linkage set up for my super bronc vt 1012...
.....any picture I would really appreciate it guys....thanks....:thumbsup:

You may want to take a photo of the carb and governor set up that's on it now, it will help with the explanation.
That's a big power plant !! :thumbsup:

Yes, please post a pic for us to see. If it's the same throttle linkage that's on my HM100 snowblower engine, you might be able to get away with just tweaking your old setup a bit. I did that for my VT-10

Ok guys here's a pic of what I got...
ok. It operates similar to mine. You might get away with changing out the throttle cable with your new minibike cable. See if there's any drag on the levers, which is designed to keep the throttle stationary. If so, you'll have to bend, sand, or grind where the friction is. Also, you'll need to place a return spring on the linkage, so that it will assist the throttle in idling down on it's own.
Oh....and make sure the pivot points are all lubricated well.
