Yes, please post a pic for us to see. If it's the same throttle linkage that's on my HM100 snowblower engine, you might be able to get away with just tweaking your old setup a bit. I did that for my VT-10
ok. It operates similar to mine. You might get away with changing out the throttle cable with your new minibike cable. See if there's any drag on the levers, which is designed to keep the throttle stationary. If so, you'll have to bend, sand, or grind where the friction is. Also, you'll need to place a return spring on the linkage, so that it will assist the throttle in idling down on it's own.
Oh....and make sure the pivot points are all lubricated well.
