I think you'd be good on converting the Briggs back to gas. Just need a new carb. Nothing inside dictates weather its alcohol or gas it's the jetting on the carb. That tec looks like it's a genuine motorsports engine. You definitely did good. I'm would definitely recommend opening them up if your gonna use them. Just nice to know everything is good.
