He's one of the greatest guitarists of all time. Some people hear him shred and assume that's all he does. He is very good at shredding but there's more to him than that, as the fantastic track above demonstrates. He has probably recorded more music than anyone else, ever.

Be sure to check out The Light in the Fog and Liquid Mantis. Years ago, I was really into his shreds but I overdid it and got burnt out on them. I didn't listen to much Buckethead for a while. Now, I'm really appreciating his more mellow tracks, Padmasana may be my favorite...
