Update: Once I got the side cover on it was a ton smoother. I got her running last night. :thumbsup:

Where can I pick these up without having to pay a fortune for shipping? They're a lightweight item that fits in an envelope, $10 to ship a couple is a little steep.

Two kids, but no, they haven't snuck out to the garage and been near the engine. Oldest is four though so no telling....

Ahh, that makes sense. Only reason I turned it was to get the cam back in, then when it was harder to turn than it should have been I heard the noise. I'll get it all back together and double check the issue before trying to turn it over. Thanks!

I'm making my first mods on a 212 and noticed that it's very hard to turn right now with the side cover off and the cam out. I even hear somewhat of a scratching sounds as the piston reaches TDC and then once it turns over it frees up a bit. Plug has been out but I don't think there is anyway...
