buuy it... just the plate at least because i spent half the money on drill bits and didnt slot the motor and now running into adjustment problems. is slotting really that hard? i wouldnt think so but i dont have the tools and dont thinks its going to be cheaper than buying the conversion plate.

it was going about 25mph .although there was a significant amount of low end pickup compared to the 2.8 engine. just would have imagined there would be a higher top end than the 2.8. no real difference in the top speed of the 2.8 vs. the 6.5. sure does have more torque tho
