I can honestly say I've never seen an Arco optioned like that. I used to only collect Arco's years back as they were built not far from me. Neat combo. Shame for that lower frame rail...

It does suck that the frame rail broke.
But a welder and maybe a little extra material and it can be saved.
I'm curious what you mean "optioned that way" ?
It looks like this one had a rear disc brake.
I thought that was odd if it is original.

That was there cheapest model. They all broke. I have one in a couple pieces. Lol

That frame with those forks. Unless someone happened to switch the forks out with another model Arco? Disc brake mount and caliper looks correct to me.

I have one like that to but mine has springs on the front forks and the frame has been hacked up
Was wondering if those back springs do anything you would hope the frame doesn't flex that much could be why they're all broke

If you look closely at the crossbar of the foot pegs, it is multiple pieces. That is the hinge area for the rear springs. Not their best design....

It's kind of a cool setup IMHO for a low end kids cheap toy (in the day).

The front has a spring too.
It's on the triple tree and kind of hard to see.

I se it now and where the pivot is on yours on mine has been replaced and made the footpegs stick out a foot on either side no sharp turns and where your rear springs are has some pipe scabed in their
I bought it for the front end its just like the one in my profile pic with springs on the forks thinking maybe they would be better than what I had but no their froze up pretty good
