thanks but thats a BIT pricey...i already have the plate just not the canister or filter part

What are you looking to pay for one? I'm sure I have one somewhere in the garage. I would trade one for a 5/8" clutch w/set screws if you have one.

im just looking for a filter other than a sock or stocking...for my h50 just to use not for restore..willing to pay 10-15

Go to your local lawn mower shop and spend a few dollars for one. They still sell them new. It would save you money on shipping for sure!!! And they are like $5.00 for the filter at most. If that isn't cheap enough. You might even get lucky and they have a used canister on a junk machine you could buy also.

i checked most local hardware stores and all they have is the filter not the housing

Sears parts and service centers usually have them. I think they cost around $20 new.
