How to take apart comet clutch????

hey guy i got grease in my clutch (HAAAAAAAAAAAA) and i need to take it apart to clean it but i cant figure the darn thing out. Does anyone know how?

Like Strigoi said, there is a snap ring in the back that will separate the drum so you can wipe it clean. I got oil in mine once, it wouldnt grab at all.

No i have the ring off..But the lip that ring clips to is preventing me from smoothly slipp the houseing away from the clutch
Sometimes they are tight or the lip is slightly peened. Twist while pulling, if it absolutely wont come off remove a small amount of metal evenly around the lip but go easy.

If the shoes are really oily , remove the springs and clean everything. You will definitely need snap ring pliers for the other clip.
