new carb

i have a 97cc doodlebug 30 baja and i am going to replace the carb. i was just going to go on the bajamotorsport web site and buy the replacement part, but im afraid of its poor quality that it will break again. i'm new at mini bikes and wanted to know a good place online to buy a carb that would fit, but one that's better quality than stock. also if anyone knows how to take off governers safely please tell me. Thank you

I can't help but wonder about using a Keihin or Mikuni from a Honda 50 or so.

Anyone compare a Tecumpseh carb to see if it would fit?

do you think buying a honda one would work because the engine is a honda clone? thanks

a honda carb should fit. it is a 99% copy of a honda so i cant see there being too many problems.
