I remember discussing on this forum with someone who has an old Briggs 5S engine like the one I have. I had looked mine up on Briggs website and found it to be a year 1951. I was wondering what hp was this engine rated at? it has only a 1/2 inch crankshaft but I was thinking of possibly installing it on my Trail Horse mini bike for a temporary installation. I would need to adapt 3/4" bore clutch that I have. Would this engine power the lightweight Trail Horse under leisurely riding conditions?
