save an E-Bay search for sachs

save money, you'll need it

one day ...BINGO

or buy the whole bike...Sachs recoil is a pain in the....maybe you should just restore the Tecumseh model...but then the TC and cover is hard to find...go figure.

I almost used the SOL lead-in

Thanks

Thanks for the help. I do believe I have two housings not sure on the condition. My father also has a 1970 SSSCAT 1 and his recoil workers but it is not reliable.

Sachs Recoil

I thought about the SOL too ACCA, but hate to use it every time a Cat question comes up. The recoils are easier than the 10" fork boot. Save your money LJN, you are looking at a $150 minimum. Watch for Arctic Cat, Coleman or Fox as well.
