I have a Baja Warrior that I want to slow down the top end in favor of more low-end torque. It has a 17T jackshaft output and a 50T rear sprocket. Will a 60T rear sprocket help?
If enough of different jackshaft sprockets are available you shouldn't need to change the rear sprocket for a gearing change. They can be double the cost of a jackshaft sprocket. The jackshaft's driven sprocket would be the one to change.
What exactly are you currently running? What tooth clutch, to what tooth driven? And do you really have a 17 tooth to a 50 tooth? With those numbers it's much easier to understand what you would need for more low end versus what you are currently running.
