Hello, Does anybody have any info on this Fox Sundowner gas tank? The pet cock needed to be replaced and the metal plate that held on it came off with it. I was very careful and almost made it, but it popped on the last few threads. I think it had been previously repaired and was weak already...

Thanks gumpit. I did realize pricing wasn't discussed here, sorry, I am new here. I bought one new back in the 70's with my paper route money, would be fun to have one again. Peppy little engine. I'm out west, near Springfield. Go Pats!

Thanks Bob. I'm looking at a Sundowner in excellent original condition. Looks like a real survivor. Pads have been replaced on the recoil, new pull chord, no rust, $1,000. Seems like a fair deal to me, I haven't seen many in this good condition.
