Hello From San Diego California. Need help with my BC1000 Brake. I just purchased a older Bonanza BC1000 frame. It came with original wheels. I am having trouble locating the correct brake for this model. I think it is called a friction? brake. It is missing the entire brake peddle and flat plate that makes contact with the tire. Does anyone know where I can either buy one complete to fit as originally designed? Or maybe a close up picture so I can fabricate one if they are no longer sold. I assume it requires brass bushings in the frame but I have not located any close up pictures of this early paddle style brake assembly. Thanks
