Is that an F.W. & Associates Mini Car?

6 inch rims. Pretty sure they all used 4.10/3.50-6" tires. Be sure to use the "sawtooth" tread which resembles the old 60s-70s bias-ply or radials of the time.

i took a break from that part of the van. getting back at it soon. having a friend help me build a custom kart for it

sorry for long wait on updates. but i found kart that fits the van. i have a live axle to go on the rear with go kart slicks front and rear. gonna be a low and fast machine

we did some chopping of the old rear axle and some supports. tomorrow we fitting the body onto the kart

mocking up some wheel ideas with parts we had laying around

we finally did some fabing on the kart. made the steering wheel support to give me more leg room to get in and out of the kart. we thinking of doing hinged body on it maybe

got the new frame extensions on and place body to see how it looks

I think your idea of hinging the body, is a good idea for easier access.

i gotta huge order of parts coming later this week. then we cab finally start figuring out the body mounts

axle hanger tacked on and seat mounted. and engine plate supports welded and engine plate sitting on there.

still working on getting body mounted. its tougher to get it right. but worth it

we might but a gear box with reverse next fall. right now we want tk get it driving and enjoy it

got the back body mount made and bolted on. tomorrow we do the front

all the welding fab work is done. 80% done. csnt wait to ride it

so the kart runs and drives with the body. but we seized up the engine
