It's bone stock except for the air filter kit with adaptor. I understand it would need re-jetting. But wouldn't it still run? It falls flat on its face and dies with any throttle input other than a standing idle.

I don't know. I bought it without the engine so I've never ridden it. Haven't had much luck with drum or band brakes in the past, so really hoping I can make a caliper work with the sprocket. Ordered on yesterday. If I can hook it up and it works well I'll probably ditch the front brake altogether.

It's got a band brake on the rear. Not sure if it's original. Would like to add a caliper on the sprocket. Just not sure if there's enough room.

Cut and clocked rear fender. New 212cc motor. Lowered seat, angled shocks. More parts on the way.

Can you swap out the 2-garter springs in the comet driver for ones with different spring rates? Mine engages at too high of an rpm for me. The bike lurches forward once it engages.

I did the belt pinch test around the front pulley and have a sloppy 5/8 inch all the way around the shaft.

I need a low profile gas cap that will fit my new harbor freight clone motor. I crammed it in an Azusa frame and the stock plastic cap is too tall! Help!!
