The little mini I bought yesterday (1/02/14) has a 100cc McCulloch kart engine that will run 10,000 rpm without a problem. Typical clutch engagement rpm is 4,000 to 5,000.
Is there any general rule of thumb on what the ratio between the two sprockets should be?
I am a vintage go karter and love McCulloch engines. When I saw this bike this morning and had to have it. The bike appears professionally built, but the McCulloch engine a crudely done addition. I'll try and clean up the crudeness and make a little show bike.
