Dave, the frame was extended in front of the axle back in 1974 by the original owner. It is exactly the same kart as Scooterboy's in the top pick except for the front porch. I've had the kart since last October from his son. Rick

If you can change the 41 tooth to a smaller one you will gain speed and loose acceleration. the smaller you go the more speed you will gain at the expense of fast acceleration. You can also get the same effect by increasing the size of the 15 tooth sprockets or deceasing the size of the 72 tooth...
