Hi I have a briggs 4hp (serial number 100202 0015-01 75110507) with a bad bore and i was wondering if i could use the crankshaft (bushing style) and sidecover on a 5hp? The 5hp (serial number 130232 1918 01 85042507) this one is a single pto side bearing but it has 5/8 threaded end for a pump...

I have a 5hp I/C dual bearing motor that runs good but looks too new for my taste Is it possible to covert it to older style tins??? the stamping on the current tins are as follows (if it helps) model 132232 type 223601 code 86121507 (It is a "J" stamped block)

Anyone know if you can use and aftermarket carb on a B&S 5hp 206cc Lighting Coil Cast Iron Bore engine and if so what is the diameter of the intake? ie: 22mm, 24mm etc etc. The engine model number is 131436. Thanks
