I have a sidekick scooter I think. The vin tag is missing. I want to register it for trail use in nh but, can't find out how to do so without a Vin number. Does anyone know how many digits it should be? I don't have a problem making one up. Nh doesn't check vin numbers on atvs.
I am wanting a Sears Allstate Puch Mo-Ped, the style you can peddle like a bicycle. I would take a complete bike or parts.
This is the bike I first learned how to ride, back in 1963.
I recently found one, but it needs several parts. I need front left fork (maybe complete forks), center stand...
Cleaning out the garage and found this pair of vintage clutches.
NORAM (North American Clutch Co.) has steel shoes, 3/4" bore, 10T for #41 Chain.
ALLSTATE has composite shoes, bronze bushing... 5/8 bore, 10T for #35 chain. There were bikes (Sears?) that used the clutches as OEM equipment but...
F/S
13 tooth Alstate clutch. 3/4" shaft. I would replace the oillite bushing. Other than that it appears to be a pretty nice clutch. Have no use for it. 25.00 Shipped.
This belongs to my friend Geoff. His uncle bought it new in 1967 and later gave it to Geoff. He has the title, certificate of origin , owners manual and tool kit. 35yrs ago Geoff parked it in his parents garage. This week he decided to resurect it.
This is my '53 Sears-Allstate 811.40 turtleback scooter. It is different from Cushmans of the day with it's "windsplitter" tall front fender! Get it? lololol
Saw this one on eBay this am (staying home sick for a few days leaves way too much time for this sort of thing!). Looks cool, but a whole lot more money than I'd wanna spend on one more thing that I don't need and don't have room for. The engine looks like a cast iron Briggs & Stratton?
eBay...
I'm selling this on ebay. Please click my ebay link. $1200.00 Carlisle, Pa
