1961 Caper Cycle Falcon

Heavy heartedly, I’m offering up my fully restored 1961 Caper Cycle Falcon.

Two year old restoration including, full frame strip and repaint in early IH red. All bearings, Jack shaft, keys, sprockets (save for final drive), cables, brakes, correct grips, controls, seat,. Tires are replacements from the 80’s with no cracking though the rear shows wear, fenders (polished), and tank (boiled, treated and lined) are original. Palmini tank cap was a neat little piece that came with it. I redesigned the head decal and had it printed on durable material… got a bunch of those too for anyone interested.
The engine, while correct, is not original. It was built by Frank Moore out of Ohio. It’s a beast. I added the lightning bolt exhaust manifold. The bike has been run a handful of times since completion… certainly enough to know that it’s way too much bike for anyone in my family… myself included.

Asking 2500.00. I can crate the bike but you must arrange shipping.

Good morning I havent been on my computer for the Last several days and I am just now reading your message.As to my first project no probably more like my 100th seriously. Have you Sold the Caper cycle yet or any offers.I am also good friends with Frank Moore I have had at least a dozen of his motorsI told you I was bvoren and raised in Conn and have a lot of relatives in Springfield Mass. Have you received a quote to ship the Bike to Reno Nv 89521.I am interested but its all about money.

Yes. I’m not sure what my father used as the basis to see the one he did on it but it doesn’t look anything like the original.
The one that’s on it now is the remake of the original.
