Hey guys. Starting to think about my winter refresher of my 224. Currently using the Dyno cm cam which has the 224 core. I would like to try some other cams but it seems no one else has the 224 cores. When I built this I had a 212 cam and had issues with the compression release hitting the crank. I then ground it to make it work but then the release wouldn't always work. So... what cams is everyone running in their 224?

I used a 252 Rattlesnake cam.
From what I recall it had a lot of crankshaft endplay. Shims on the PTO side took out all the extra endplay and more clearance from the cam. The cam got shimmed toward the side cover. Then trimming away a small section of the side of the intake lobe of the cam that was contacting the rod.
