224 help!!

Do you run race gas? I have a hard time reading any plug it seems with that.

If you got some old plugs, post pics. I'm sure some body can read them.

Wow never rounded a cam like that. Let is know what Dyno says.

Did you see any valve marks on the piston top which would indicate valve float? It would be on the exhaust side.

No piston and valves all look good

What size tires are on it? How tall are they?

Talked to dyno and they said with 22lb springs they assume a bad lobe and will replace it. So that's nice. Tires are 19x7-8 and are 20 inches tall.

I only ask because i am running 18lb springs with a Dyno cam myself lol

So thought I would post some updates. On the motor that didn't have the bad cam I added the new dovan coil, shimmed the valves to .850, and installed 2 vents with pcv off the valve cover. I also talked to ec carbs and he suggested a different carb. I picked up a nibbi 26 flat slide. Today I got it running and did some testing. Still only got 5650 for rpm. I am jetted at 135 main and 38 pilot (kehin jets). This pic is of a new plug after some blasts. Looks a little lean to me. Went to 140 main and was worse. So still need to figure it out more. Also have a 7 inch driven to try when I get the carb figured out.
