Another RUPP I need info on

Hey guys, here is the rupp that got me into rupps!

Its beat up, but this old bike still starts with 1 pull, and is a solid great working bike.

My friends had it since he was a kid, and he would like to know as much as he could about the bike, year etc...

Also, he was wondering if the BLACK PAINT on the handle-bars is original?
Did bikes ever come painted like that on the handle bars, or is it something the original owner did?

That Rupp is either a Roadster2 or a Black Widow Repainted. The black paint on handelbars is not original.

yeah we had just come off the trails, and didn't give the bike a proper clean up before taking the pics

this bike went everywhere, rupps can go over some tuff stuff

but mud, and puddles can be quite tricky
