bonanza ,hodaka ace90,no spark

i have a bike very similar to this model from the bonanza site

the motor has no spark. i replaced the condensor with no luck.

the original wiring was intact, but i removed evertyhing. i get a voltage from the green and yellow wires. i have tied the blue and black ones together.

which wire goes to what, is there a schematic available. i can troubleshoot if i had a schematic and a DVOM. what should i look for or know about ace 90 hodaka?

Follow the wire off the condenser out of the engine, what ever color that wire is, is the one to the coil (should be black). the other side of the coil goes to ground if it has another wire. Remember with this set up their is no way to stop the engine if something goes wrong. Add another wire from the coil and put it to ground to stop the engine, that is all the key does to stop it.
Was just thinking! Does the heavy coil wire come out of the engine case? if so there are no wires to connect there is only a kill wire. No spark is just dirty points or out of adjustment. Have fun, Dave

where is the pics of your bike? sounds like you are putting a hodaka on on a bike that was a tecumseh equiped bike.
