sorry to jump in on your conversation I just joined trying to fig out how to post message and pics I have 1970 artic cat sss cat II tecumseh 4hp motor trying to get some info on it thanks

thats not a Manco Streaker at all, look at the front of the frame shape.

I dont think that's a Manco. The rear axle mounts should be under the frame tube not on top. Plus the down tube behind the neck is to far apart. Also the fender mounts look to high up on the fork. Maybe its a real early one that Im not familiar with.:shrug:

I thought there were two versions? An early and a late? Though this was the later version. I'm terrible at this anymore.

I do see how wide the rail are where they meet the pegs/lower rails now. Time to start wearing the specs again....

Don't feel bad, I tought it was one to when I first looked at the pic real quick. I took a second look at it and was like what the heck.

Some Mancos did have the mount on the top, they had several versions of the streaker. Most of them were painted red, but mine was originally painted blue. Mine is a little different then most, my engine mounting plate is different then most.

Dobber. Yep Ive seen some with the mounts on the top but the front part of the OP's bike is def not any Manco that I have seen. :shrug:
