working on a Clinton E65, its has some issues. I got it all apart after fighting it for a few days (stuck solid). The intake side cover (hold the fan housing on) is one problem, the 2 bottom lugs that the blower housing bolts to are broken off, among a list of other things. I will need bearings/seals/rings and the case is so/so. Aluminum Rod looks good and much to my surprise I was able not to scatter the 25 needles all over the garage:thumbsup:
Trying to search around a bit, found some stuff on karts sites etc.. Trying to avoid joining up forums if I have to. Anyone now these pretty well, or maybe know of someone that redoes them etc.? maybe know if any of the chainsaw engines cross over pretty close and what numbers I should look for? Biggest thing Is I want to keep the flywheel/ignition as it is a charging coil setup. I can live with lower power if I cant make this block work. I don't know squat about these motors though.
