Dads Scamming the Scammers

#1
Dad, like everyone else gets tons of scam people that want to send you a check and have you cash it and then wire them the balance. They claim to have a check for lets say $2,000 and your item is $1,000 so they will send you the check, you deposit it and withdraw a grand and wire it to them. And then the next day the bank lets you know that the check is no good. And your out a grand.
Well he decided to go along with it and collect the checks. The law wont get involved because most of the people are from Canada or somewhere across the pond.
The neat part is he insist that they overnight the checks, otherwise his "other" buyer will buy it. So it cost these scum bags $20+ to overnight them. Here are some of the checks, they are very real looking, some are printed on security paper with the fibers and all.

:thumbsup:Way to go Dad:thumbsup:

My grandparents fell for one of those once, I think the scammers only target old people. :eek:ut: :thefinger: But yeah, 20 dollars is probably nothing to these scumbags, good idea though haha.
