Do Hydro brakes come WITH PADS?

Hi Gang,
Sorry for such a simple Q. I've read all the hydro brake threads and didn't see it mentioned anywhere... even when there were multiple folks asking the question..

When you buy the Hydro brakes... do they come with new pads?

Do they use the same pads as the stock brake?

My one newly acquired DB needs new pads so I'm wondering if I need to buy them in addition to the hydro brake kit.

Yes they come with pads. Some have the same pads and some do not. You need to ask the supplier that question.

I got a reply from ProMod (thanks!)... he said regarding the Hydro Brake he sells:

It comes ready to bolt on and pads are available for $6.
The pads are the same as the Mechanical system although you have to sand one of the new pads down a bit to fit. (the friction material is thinner on one side of the Hyd system.) easy to do
