Rear wheel also looks smaller than the front, and a mismatch
Typical of cruisers of the era to have a rear wheel smaller in OD than the front. Many full-size cruisers had a 16" rear wheel and a 19" front, some have had a 15" rear, some have had a 21" front. Some current cruisers have staggered wheel sizes, too. Looks like a pretty big difference on that little Kaw, though. Maybe Kawasaki exaggerated it to make sure people knew it was a cruiser.

Actually, it was typical of most types of motorcycles to have a smaller rear wheel but not as much difference as cruisers. Most standards had a 17" or 18" rear and a 19" front. Sportbikes were just beginning to transition to 17" front and rear wheels.
