I joined the forum because I recently purchased a rupp scrambler that I intend to restore for my kids when they get big enough. I grew up with a rupp hustler that I put literally thousands of miles on. I'd like my kids to have the the opportunity to have fun and explore the way I did when I was a kid. I also have a trail scout mini bike that I bought at a yard sale a few years back. it has front and rear suspension, but isn't as nice as the rupp. Hopefully someone on here can tell me some information about it.
I'm an active duty Air Force flying crew chief (aircraft mechanic) by trade and I'm stationed in Northern California, but I'm originally from Albuquerque New Mexico. I look forward to getting to know more about these cool old mini bikes and hopefully attending some meets/shows.
