flywheel for a rupp roadster2

I am looking for a flywheel on an hs40-55331c its the orignal engine for the bike. I cant seem to find it anywhere the part # is 610769a.

look on ebay but you need the stator with the windings to in order for it to work Ive seen the stator go for 40.00 to 60.00 and the fly wheel hit 75.00 or more:drinkup:

so could i take a stator and flywheel off an other tecumseh motor like a hs50 and it will work. or dose it have to be the same model.

the flywheels are the same on hs40 & hs50 most everything are the same except the crank differnce in ballincing Im told

You looking for the flat aluminum stlye or the cast iron with plastic fan attached? Also would this be for a lighting coil model?

its the aluminum style, and it has a lighting coil.

i just got a engine off of a old golf cart project that never worked out.

ive got a hs40 that i may part out ill let you know at the end of the week

well when i tore it all down i found out i had bigger problems. The cam shaft broke and went around it the engine for a couple strokes and beat it up so i will just go with this hs50. but i have to weld up the crank case first, and maybe port it out and mill the head.
