Front springs needed

I need 1 mate for the one I have or a pair of similar that will work. Spring measures 1.625 OD X 1.300 ID X 4 3/8 long. I think the bike is a Sears.

Wire is .160 , cup is 1.635 and the tube is 1.250 .. You can see the broken spring in the pic,,, I could just shorten the good one to match... But if you have one that would be great.... thanx, Don

Oh well, this springs wire is much thicker.

It just will not work, first off the I.D. is too small 1.114

Too bad, its 4 3/8" long an all, I'll keep an eye out..

There was an OldMiniBikes member last year that was looking for Sears Roper front springs. I remember that he was finally able to locate and purchase some nearly identical ones online "somewhere" (I don't remember where), however, he did have to cut them down in length, which would not be a big deal. Hopefully he will read this thread and reply?

Try a place called Fastenal... I found perfect matched OEM springs for a vintage Fox Trail FX
