Unfortunately, theres not. Thing that you call a governor on the 2.8 engine is really JUST a throtte block.. just stops the throttle from being open all the way. Stock engines (I believe all of these types of engines) are regulated to 3600 rpm by weights and balances in the engine itself. Theres absolutely no way to increase rpm without taking your engine apart and removing the internal governor parts. It would be a lot better to work on hp instead of rpm.. If you had a built engine (rods and piston) then no problem, go for rpm. The stock engine can only take so much abuse, thats why its governed at 3600 rpm. If you did a exhaust, carb and intake you'd be at least around 8-9 hp (with the governor).
