Have you ever seen this?

This is a shot of the downtubes on my Ruttman. Has anyone seen a series of holes drilled in the downtubes like this before or know what they are for? I assume it did not leave the factory that way. Any ideas before I fill them?

IMO it Looks like someone possibly had a shield screwed to the frame at one time .I cant see that being there when it was. made.

Good call Bandit I didn't think of that, I've never really seen it done but it would make sence.

I should have taken a pic before primer though because they definately did not go all the way through...:shrug:

Yeah thats the only thing I could think of within reasoning for the drilled spots....Regardless its an easy fix.:thumbsup:
