How important is color?

#1
Im restoring my Alexander Reynolds EZ-Rider and was wondering is the original green the color i should use? I am only questioning because i have a tecumseh engine(snow king new recoil style) that is black and im not sure that the engine would look good white...The frame would be a light green and the tire hubs along with the engine would be white. What do you guys think? If i did orange and black would it be a big deal?

Groves...This question comes up a lot among people who fix, modify, refinish, or
restore cars, motorcycles, airplanes, minibikes, or go-karts. The answer is simple. If you are going to re-do a project and enter it in competitions as a
"restoration" then color is very, very important. If you want to ride it, show it
to your friends, and look at it; then who the He_ _ cares what color it is. As
long as you like....that's all that counts. Ogy
