How much does timing matter?

#1
I have a choice between 24° BTDC or 32° BTDC on flywheels for my modded clone.
Which is best, and would I notice any difference between the two?

For my clone mods see cake thread.

Thanks,

Joe

It does matter Joe ... Especially depending on fuel .. I have some I run @28 and my new one at 34° but I have advanced the arc wheels to 34° as well also very important what rpm range you are going to be running as the timing advance is meant to compensate for running high rpms

I'm certainly not racing. But I'd say I run most of the time around mid throttle.

I made a nice post explaining things. I either forgot to hit post, or it disappeared.
Short version. I'm staying with the stock instead off the 6619. I don't go fast enough to grenade a FW, and I'd rather have the electrical power.
