Lil indian brake caliper question

Wondering if the front and rear brake calipers from a 7000 series bike are the same and if they would be the same as a rear caliper on the same year model 500. I don't have them in front of me to compare(don't have any)but figured they used the same parts on both bikes. Looking at buying a front from a 7000 for use on my 500

If your 500 is a 1966/67 with the Brake mount that has the wider spacing and the half moon cutout, you could use the front brake that was used on the full suspension "grand" series during 1969

front brake wont work, the rear brake on a 1969 Grand is the small late model brake though.
