Mabey a Bonanza Typhoon or a Hodaka Bike

I found this on craigslist last night. I was wondering what kind it was. The pics are bad but he is sending me more pics. I thought it was a Bonanza typhoon but the typhoons didn't have that yellow metal plate on the side.

Hard to tell from the odd angle and with the paint job. I had a Hodaka Ace 100 as a kid, the tank was narrow like that, but fenders and rear end don't look right. I'm not familiar with lots of other models... almost looks like a frankenbike.
