Manco Fox II Go-Kart

#1
I bought this project about a year ago for $20 and figured I'd post a few before and afters of it. Please take into consideration this was my first kart, second engine to fix and heavy restoration job. Some of the things I did was
-Un siezed the engine
-cleaned carb
-did some other things to engine that I forgot
-treid to get a better engine( $10 tecumseh Power sport 6.0)
(I never did get around to fixing that carb on it)
-RE-Paint
-New drive tire
-New clutch
-made a new headrest as the old one was rotted and mushrooms had grown on the fabric
-re-upolstered the seat
-re-paint roll cage
-wired the lights back up
-made the battery tray on the back
-new throttle cable

I dont have any pictures of what the roll cage looked like but it looked just as bad as the kart did when I bought it.
I know I'm probably forgeting some things but I sold it last March and can't remember all that was done. I sold that gokart for $200 and bought my Mini Baja MB165 for $250 the next day. I had about 4150 in it not includeing the purchase price. What do you think?

Nice job
I'd say you made out pretty darn good on that one. It's hard to find even a good frame for what you paid.

Thanks, the fram was pretty solid and not much rust. I bought it from my freind who had it sitting in the woods behind his house for years.
